We want our children to have a chronologically secure knowledge and understanding of local, British, and world history, establishing clear narratives within and across the periods they study. Through quality first teaching, our curriculum will provide opportunities for historical enquiry, hands on experiences and critical thinking, encouraging children to interpret and find connections between historical concepts and the periods of history studied. Real-life experiences outside of the classroom bring this history to life.
