We are a Voluntary Controlled Church School, proud to be a part of a thriving village community. \u2018Voluntary Controlled\u2019 means that whilst the church was instrumental in establishing a school in Frant (and indeed still has strong links with the school) responsibility for the everyday running of the school lies with East Sussex County Council.<\/b><\/p>

Our intake per annum is 15, as we are half form entry. We consist of 4 classes, ranging from reception to year 6. Each of our classes are named after trees found in our countryside.<\/p>

Chestnut Class – Reception (age 4 and 5): Term 3 to 6<\/p>

Chestnut \/ Willow Class – Years R and 1 (ages 4 to 6): Terms 1 and 2 only.<\/p>

Beech Class – Key Stage 1, Year 2 (ages 6 to 7): Terms 1 and 2 only then becomes Beech Class for years 1 and 2.<\/p>

Hazel Class – Lower Key Stage 2: years 3 and 4 (ages 7 to 9)<\/p>

Oak Class – Upper Key Stage 2: years 5 and 6 (ages 9 to 11)<\/p>

We are federated with Mark Cross, Five Ashes and Mayfield and are known as The Weald Federation. Mrs Challis and Miss Warren are the Executive Headteachers for The Weald Federation.<\/p>

Mrs Beach is the Head of School at Frant.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
