Reporting Student Absences
If your child is too unwell to attend school, please inform the school office before 9:30 am with details of their absence.
Log Absences via the Arbor Parent App
You can report your child’s sickness directly through the Arbor Parent App. Using the app is a great help to our staff, and we appreciate your support in making use of this tool.
Other Ways to Report an Absence
You can also report absences by:

Please note: During busy times or early mornings, we may not be able to answer your call immediately. If this happens, please leave a voicemail message – we will listen to it and follow up if we need any further information.
All other absence requests should be submitted on either an appointment form or a withdrawal from learning form (see below).
The 48 Hour Rule
If your child has had a vomiting or diarrhoea bug they need to remain at home for 48 hours after the last bout of illness, as per NHS guidance.

Someone Else Picking Up?
If there is someone else collecting your child from school the class teacher needs to know. Please let the office know or the class teacher.
