Our Vision
To be an inspirational place of learning. Together, with our community, we strive for excellence enabling every child to flourish. Through our Christian ethos, we aim to empower our pupils to become independent, reflective learners able to contribute to our ever-changing and diverse world.
The Weald Federation
The Weald Federation has been in place since September 2019. As a federation, we are committed to making a difference to the children who attend our schools. Our drive is to ensure that our four small rural schools – Five Ashes, Frant, Mark Cross and Mayfield – continue to thrive and deliver the best possible outcomes for every child. All are Church of England Schools, being Voluntary Controlled with the exception of Mark Cross which is Voluntary Aided.
Whilst there are many similarities between the four school, each is unique with thriving parent communities. The reception intake for the schools ranges between 10 at Five Ashes, 15 at Mark Cross and Frant and 20 at Mayfield.
